Medical Representative - Business Development

About the role

The Medical Representative – Business Development will drive growth for Tibu Health’s laboratory and diagnostic services by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals across Nairobi. This full‑time position focuses on generating referrals, expanding market presence, and delivering excellent service to clinics and hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and maintain strong relationships with consultant doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote Tibu Health’s laboratory and diagnostic services to increase referrals and utilization.
• Schedule and conduct regular visits, presentations, and product demonstrations at clinics, hospitals, and specialist practices.
• Gather market insights and client feedback to support service improvement and business growth.
• Prepare and submit regular activity reports and sales performance updates.
• Represent Tibu Health professionally at medical events, conferences, and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in medical services sales, preferably in laboratory or diagnostic services.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan healthcare market.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
