Membership Intern (6‑month contract)

About the role

EPROK, the Electronic‑waste Producer Responsibility Organization of Kenya, is looking for a motivated Membership Intern to support the growth, recruitment and engagement of its business membership base. The role will involve outreach, member acquisition and communication activities over a six‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map and recruit potential member companies within the sector.
• Conduct outreach activities such as phone calls, emails and physical visits to prospective members.
• Present and promote EPROK’s membership value proposition to prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment progress and update databases.
• Assist in planning and coordinating member engagement meetings, networking forums and related events.
• Support the development of marketing materials, membership briefs and promotional content.
• Help onboard new members by facilitating registration and documentation.
• Participate in field coordination for e‑waste collection drives and partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Interest in marketing, business development and membership recruitment.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented and comfortable undertaking field visits.
• Basic understanding of sales or membership recruitment processes.
