Midwife Recruitment Consultant (Remote, Freelance)

About the role

CloserMed is seeking Midwives or Allied Health professionals who are passionate about the business side of healthcare to join our start‑up as Medical Recruitment Consultants. You will work remotely, supporting Canadian and UK healthcare organisations by matching physicians with opportunities that improve access to primary care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in physician recruitment through structured training.
• Understand candidates’ professional and personal needs and match them with suitable roles.
• Build trust with candidates, provide creative solutions, and close placements.
• Collaborate with the marketing team that generates candidate leads.
• Leverage CloserMed’s in‑house tech stack to streamline recruitment workflows.

Required profile

• Background as a Midwife or Allied Health professional.
• Strong interest in healthcare business and recruitment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
