Node.js Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join a client on a contract basis. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable server‑side applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise backend services using Node.js to support application functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Integrate with databases and third‑party APIs to enhance application capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
