Online AP US History Teacher

About the role

Join Crimson Global Academy’s live online classroom as an AP US History teacher. You will guide motivated students from around the world through the people, events, and ideas that shaped the United States, preparing them for the College Board AP exam.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live lessons on AP US History in real‑time.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive online environment.
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Design homework, quizzes, and exams, and contribute high‑quality materials to the CGA resource library.
• Maintain an organized Canvas classroom with clear schedules, assignments, and assessment timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of high‑school teaching experience (Grades 9‑12); tutoring alone does not satisfy this requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of the College Board AP US History curriculum and examination format.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canvas learning management system.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital classroom tools.
