Operations Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Lead to drive end‑to‑end production, supply‑chain and logistics activities for our Nairobi office. The role will ensure efficient manufacturing processes, reliable raw‑material sourcing and compliance with quality standards while supporting cost‑control initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production and manufacturing operations, ensuring targets are met.
• Manage supply‑chain activities, including raw‑material procurement and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate logistics and distribution to guarantee timely delivery.
• Implement quality‑assurance and compliance procedures.
• Identify and lead operational system improvements.
• Monitor financial performance and control operational costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply‑chain or agro‑processing.
• Experience in renewable energy, FMCG or industrial production is a plus.
• Background in startups or resource‑constrained environments preferred.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent operational planning and execution skills.
