Operations Officer – Logistics & Export

About the role

The Operations Officer – Logistics & Export will coordinate both local and international shipments, ensuring smooth movement of goods from order confirmation to final delivery. You will work closely with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams to maintain efficient export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international shipments, planning transport schedules and tracking deliveries.
• Prepare and verify export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, and certificates of origin.
• Liaise with customs agents and regulatory authorities to ensure timely customs clearance and compliance.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and warehouse teams.
• Oversee warehouse dispatches, inventory movement, and support inventory planning with procurement and sales.
• Monitor logistics costs, prepare operational reports using Excel and ERP systems, and suggest efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and export operations.
• Experience with freight coordination, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems for logistics and export processes.
