Operations & Sales Point Coordinator – FMCG Experience Preferred

About the role

The Operations & Sales Point Coordinator will be the primary on‑site contact for our retail and wholesale partners in Nairobi. You will ensure smooth store operations, reliable product distribution, and strong sales performance across all points of sale.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular store visits and operational audits (minimum three times per store each month).
• Provide supply‑chain support and day‑to‑day assistance to all sales‑point partners.
• Coordinate product distribution and inventory levels together with the production manager.
• Monitor equipment functionality and manage fault reporting.
• Train partners on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service.
• Track POS data, deliver market feedback and prepare monthly marketing reports.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, finance and marketing teams.
• Support onboarding of new partners, track order volumes and delivery times.
• Manage partner incentive programmes and resolve operational disputes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail, field operations or store‑network management.
• Experience with both retail and wholesale/distribution channels is preferred.
• Willingness to spend 80 %+ of working hours on‑site visiting stores.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic data analysis tools.
