About the role
This position is for a Paramedical professional to join emergency response missions coordinated by Médecins Sans Frontières. The role involves rapid deployment to outbreak settings, working in remote and resource‑limited environments while adhering to MSF humanitarian principles.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy for a first rotation of 6–8 weeks in an Ebola or other VHF/disease‑outbreak response mission.
- Complete a mandatory 21‑day post‑deployment monitoring period.
- Operate in fast‑changing, high‑pressure field settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required profile
- Available for deployment within the next three months.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Holder of a valid Schengen visa, residence permit, or passport exempt from Schengen visa requirements.
- For Ebola response: proven experience in Ebola response.
- For other emergencies: extensive experience with VHF, disease outbreak, or similar emergency response.
- Demonstrated flexibility, resilience under high‑pressure conditions, and commitment to MSF principles.
