Part‑time Lecturer – Advanced Statistics Techniques

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to deliver advanced statistics techniques to undergraduate students. The successful candidate will join the Department of Economics and contribute to the university’s commitment to high‑quality teaching and research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions on advanced statistical methods.
• Prepare and grade assignments, examinations and project work.
• Ensure compliance with the university’s educational quality control and assurance standards.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach statistical concepts at the tertiary level.
• Strong academic record with relevant teaching or research experience.
• Willingness to submit an updated CV, academic certificates, transcripts, recent payslip and three referee letters.
