About the role

Equity Afia is seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to join its network of franchised outpatient centres in Westlands, Nairobi. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality medication management and supporting the delivery of affordable healthcare to the community.

Key responsibilities

Dispense medicines and manage prescription administration in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation and record‑keeping for all pharmaceutical activities.
Follow patient care plans and support medication counseling.
Oversee stock and inventory management to guarantee product availability.
Utilise Health Management Information Systems for data entry and reporting.

Required profile

Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
At least three years of post‑internship experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Registered with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Proficiency in computer use, especially Health Management Information Systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
