Pharmaceutical Technologist

About the role

DoveyPharma Limited is seeking a full‑time Pharmaceutical Technologist to join its Nairobi County team. You will support daily pharmacy operations, ensure accurate medication dispensing, and provide clear counseling to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and verify dosages.
• Compound medicines as required and label/pack products correctly.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for all pharmaceuticals.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other staff to maintain documentation and handle patient queries.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Pharmaceutical Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and license with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) or the relevant Kenyan authority.
• Strong knowledge of drug indications, dosages, and interactions.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Prior experience in a community or hospital pharmacy is an advantage.
