About the role
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will work at Equity Afia’s Utawala site in Nairobi, supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring high‑quality pharmaceutical services. The role combines technical pharmacy expertise with the use of health information systems to improve patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update Health Management Information Systems with accurate pharmaceutical data.
- Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support safe medication dispensing.
Required profile
- Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- At least 3 years post‑internship experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Registered with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
