About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in a relevant field to provide expert peer review for nephrology manuscripts. This is a long‑term, stable part‑time position that can be performed entirely remotely.

Key responsibilities

Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
Check literature coverage and citation of up‑to‑date research.
Analyse results, conclusions, and ethical compliance.
Provide clear, constructive feedback and recommendations for acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Required profile

Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
