PhD Peer Reviewer – Pulmonology (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in pulmonology or a related field to join our editorial team as remote peer reviewers. This long‑term, part‑time position allows you to contribute to high‑quality scientific publications while working from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for completeness and relevance.
• Analyze results and verify that conclusions are supported by data.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and highlight any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in pulmonology or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
