Plant Operator – Grain Elevator

About the role

Agrocorp Processing is looking for a safety‑conscious Plant Operator to run daily grain‑processing and shipping activities at its grain elevator in Bank Cut, Montana. The role involves receiving inbound deliveries, loading trucks and railcars, monitoring product quality, maintaining accurate records and keeping the facility clean and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily delivery, production and loading plans and verify product quality against contract specifications.
• Safely load and unload trucks and railcars, weigh vehicles, prepare scale tickets and enter transaction data.
• Collect and retain product samples, perform routine quality checks and document results in shift logs.
• Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, shipping and production records.
• Inspect, clean and change over equipment to prevent contamination.
• Report mechanical problems, assist with routine inspections, preventive maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Keep production areas, offices, control rooms and outdoor zones clean; enforce PPE and safety procedures.
• Communicate operational information during shift changes and provide courteous service to growers, drivers and contractors.
