About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Policy Associate to support its Migrant Protection and Assistance (MPA) programme in Kenya. The role will contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of policy‑related activities that promote safe, orderly and regular migration in line with the Global Compact for Migration and national development plans.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of MPA projects that provide humanitarian and protection assistance to migrants and returnees.
- Contribute to the development and analysis of policy and legal frameworks related to migration, reintegration and return.
- Assist in capacity‑building and advocacy activities for key stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs.
- Provide data and information to inform strategic interventions and reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Interest in migration issues, humanitarian assistance and policy development.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse partners.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
