About the role
The Portfolio Officer will provide frontline customer support while managing debt recovery for our clients. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and collections targets are met.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver customer support and resolve client issues via calls and emails.
- Recover outstanding debts through proactive follow‑ups and negotiations.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers.
- Handle complaints and disputes professionally, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate customer and collection records.
- Prepare regular collection and recovery reports.
- Meet collection targets and suggest process improvements.
Required profile
- Mid‑level experience (minimum 3 years) in customer service or debt collection.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under targets.

What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from KES 30,000 to KES 45,000.
- Contractual engagement with potential for extension.
