Powder Sprayer Operation Team Leader

About the role

The Powder Sprayer Operation Team Leader is responsible for managing daily production activities in the powder‑spraying area of a detergent manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Workshop Director, you will ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations while leading a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and schedule personnel to meet production targets.
• Monitor and optimise energy consumption, minimise waste, and improve unit energy output.
• Conduct skills training, promote safety and quality awareness, and enforce SOP compliance.
• Coordinate with other department heads to identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks.

Required profile

• College diploma or higher (Kenyan qualification).
• Minimum 2 years experience in detergent powder or chemical product manufacturing.
• Understanding of DCS control‑room authority management and basic mechanical equipment knowledge.
• Strong grasp of 5S principles and ability to lead regular CILT inspections.
