Pricing Analyst (Logistics, Supply Chain & Freight Forwarding)

About the role

The Pricing Analyst will support Kaziweza Limited’s logistics, supply chain and freight forwarding business by developing and managing pricing strategies. The role involves analysing market trends, negotiating rates with service providers and delivering accurate quotations to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and evaluate pricing enquiries from internal and external customers.
• Liaise with service providers to source and negotiate rates.
• Prepare and deliver quotations within agreed timelines.
• Maintain quotation templates and update the quotation register with feedback.
• Develop and implement pricing tactics to meet targets and objectives.
• Analyse quote status, rate trends, competitor pricing and market data.
• Apply statistical modelling to assess the impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to create competitive pricing.
• Document pricing processes, manage price deviations and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor expiring rate agreements and communicate updates to relevant parties.
• Undertake ad‑hoc pricing analysis and report on margin performance.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in pricing, logistics or supply chain analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Mid‑level professional with strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
