Principal Full Stack Engineer – AI Systems & Engineering Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer who lives for engineering leverage. In this role you will build the scaffolding that lets AI agents autonomously handle repeatable development tasks, turning human effort into system design problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve the automation layer that enables coding agents to plan, implement, test, and ship production‑grade software.
• Dispatch concurrent workstreams to fleets of agents, validate outputs against enterprise criteria, and resolve agent failures as permanent system solutions.
• Collaborate with product leadership to ship customer‑facing features at startup speed while maintaining reliability.
• Package and share refined rules, evaluation loops, and context files to raise the productivity ceiling for the entire engineering team.
• Set technical direction, scope initiatives, review architecture and PRs, mentor senior engineers, and enforce quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production full‑stack engineering on web‑based systems with experience leading senior engineers.
• Deep familiarity with AI‑native operating models—building context, tooling, and guardrails for agents rather than hand‑coding.
• Power‑user of leading agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and a habit of benchmarking new models weekly.
• Ability to choose the appropriate frontier model for a given scenario and explain the rationale.
