Procurement Senior Coordinator – BU Support

About the role

The Tupande Procurement Senior Coordinator supports One Acre Fund’s Kenya operations by overseeing procurement projects for assigned business units. The role ensures smooth execution, controls spend, and drives continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for operational needs, including documentation and purchase order processing within approved strategies and policies.
• Develop and maintain procurement project tracking tools such as sourcing plans and risk registers.
• Monitor project timelines, promptly escalating risks or delays.
• Provide market analysis and research to inform specialist and category lead strategies.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure contract compliance and adapt approaches to evolving business priorities.
• Coordinate closely with business units to clarify requirements, timelines, and resolve issues early.
• Act as the liaison between Procurement and business units, ensuring BU input is reflected in category work.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating procurement projects in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical ability to conduct market research and risk assessments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience managing supplier relationships.
• Ability to develop and use tracking tools and maintain strict contract compliance.
