Procurement & Store Officer

About the role

Cylinder Works Ltd is seeking a diligent Procurement & Store Officer to oversee the acquisition of goods and manage day‑to‑day store operations. The role ensures that required materials are sourced cost‑effectively and that inventory is accurately tracked and readily available for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of goods and materials needed by the company.
• Identify, liaise with, and coordinate suppliers to secure timely deliveries.
• Request, receive, and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Support purchasing activities while ensuring value for money.
• Receive, verify, and record goods delivered to the store.
• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels.
• Organise the store for proper storage and easy access.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock‑taking exercises.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement and store documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments on procurement and inventory requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in procurement and store management.
• Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management processes.
• Excellent record‑keeping and organisational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
