Product Operations Associate

About the role

Sun King is seeking a Product Operations Associate to support the delivery and continuous improvement of its energy solutions in Kenya. The role bridges field teams, product development, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth product performance and rapid issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage and resolve technical issues raised by field teams, conducting root‑cause analysis and coordinating fixes with the development team.
• Oversee day‑to‑day product monitoring, configuration management, and change‑request handling.
• Translate business needs into clear documentation, including use cases, flowcharts, and mock screens for functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Coordinate rollout and expansion of new features and automations across geographies and user groups, addressing stakeholder queries.
• Streamline business processes using AI and modern automation tools.
• Partner with cross‑functional groups throughout the product lifecycle, from design through launch.
• Lead testing activities for applications, solutions, and web panels at various development stages.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related tech‑delivery role.
• Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
• Detail‑oriented professional who takes pride in work quality and impact.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on uncovering root causes of technical challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• SQL query writing and data manipulation.
• Experience with AI productivity tools for automation and analysis.
