Professional Painter – Interior & Exterior

About the role

We are looking for a skilled painter to deliver high‑quality finishes on both interior and exterior projects in Nairobi. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring surfaces are prepared and painted to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sand, scrape and fill cracks or holes to prepare surfaces.
• Apply primer, paint, varnish and other finishes to walls, ceilings and exterior facades.
• Mix paints and match colours according to project specifications.
• Protect surrounding areas and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Operate brushes, rollers and spray‑painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to guarantee a flawless finish.
• Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a professional painter (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials and surface preparation.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Certificate or vocational training in painting is an advantage.
