Programme Analyst – Digital Health Systems & Deployment

About the role

The Programme Analyst will support the development, deployment and continuous improvement of the Uzazi Salama digital health platform. Reporting to the Manager, Foundations Programmes, the role acts as the daily liaison between Safaricom Foundation, implementing partners, county health teams and technology vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee application development activities, monitor vendor performance, and coordinate software sprints, testing and bug resolution.
• Lead county‑level deployment, onboarding health facilities, scheduling training and providing on‑site or remote implementation support.
• Manage day‑to‑day engagement with technology partners, track SLA compliance and resolve system defects or downtime incidents.
• Track system usage, platform uptime and user feedback; prepare regular progress reports and dashboards.
• Facilitate communication among Safaricom Foundation, M‑Pesa Foundation, county governments and other stakeholders.
• Support broader health‑pillar initiatives, field visits, stakeholder engagements and grant implementation tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Digital Health or Public Health.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital health, health informatics, software project management or technology‑enabled development programmes.
• Experience working with software vendors, technology partners and public‑sector health programmes is an advantage.
