Programme Coordinator – Peace, Recovery & Solutions

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Coordinator to lead the Peace, Recovery, and Solutions portfolio for its Kenya Mission. Reporting to the Head of Office and directly supervised by the Head of Programmes and Policy Development, the role ensures effective coordination and implementation of peace‑building initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the Peace, Recovery, and Solutions programme portfolio for the IOM Kenya Mission.
• Work under the overall supervision of the Head of Office and the direct supervision of the Head of Programmes and Policy Development.
• Collaborate closely with all relevant units, sub‑offices and external partners to ensure programme coherence and effectiveness.
• Monitor programme activities, prepare reports and contribute to policy development related to peace and recovery initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Law or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of professional experience in programme coordination, peacebuilding, recovery or related humanitarian fields.
