About the role
We are looking for a Project Assistant / Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support to project managers and the PMO team across multiple initiatives in Nyeri. The role ensures project information is accurate, deadlines are met, and team communication runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Assist project managers with day‑to‑day coordination activities.
- Update and maintain project tracking spreadsheets and reporting documents.
- Support project time‑tracking and data‑entry tasks.
- Prepare project status reports and follow up on meeting actions.
- Schedule meetings, take minutes, and manage action‑item trackers.
- Organise and maintain project documentation and shared folders.
- Follow up with team members on task progress and status updates.
- Assist with reporting updates in project management tools and systems.
- Support PMO administrative activities and reporting needs.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in project support, coordination or administration.
- University/College degree.
- Strong organisational, written and verbal English communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate).
- Microsoft Word.
- Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with project tools such as Jira, Smartsheet or Monday.com (optional).
