Project Associate – Trials & Pilot Execution

About the role

The Project Associate will support Regen Organics in designing, implementing and monitoring field trials and pilot projects across multiple counties in Kenya. Based in Nairobi, the role involves regular travel to rural sites to coordinate participants, collect data and ensure smooth execution.

Key responsibilities

• Set up pilots and trials from scratch, including recruiting host sites and participants.
• Monitor active sites throughout the project cycle and flag deviations, issues or practices that could compromise results.
• Coordinate supply of trial inputs with local distributors to avoid delays.
• Collect, record and analyse field data, producing structured reports for the Emerging Trends team.
• Maintain relationships with field officers, participants and local officials.
• Travel across counties (Kirinyaga, Nakuru, Nyandarua, Kakamega) as projects require.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical or business‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in Swahili and English.
• Hands‑on experience setting up and running structured pilots or trials.
• Experience recruiting large numbers of participants at scale.
• Strong analytical and data‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel and stay in rural farming areas for extended periods.
