Project Engineer II – Water & Wastewater Construction

About the role

PC Construction is seeking a Project Engineer II to support its water and wastewater treatment facilities in Florida. The engineer will guide projects from bid preparation through construction, working closely with owners, designers and subcontractors to ensure scope, schedule and budget are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and distribute bid packages and manage subcontractor communication.
• Obtain scopes of work, quotations and perform price reviews.
• Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and related documents.
• Review design drawings and specifications, generate and process RFIs.
• Maintain contract document logs, submittal logs and schedule updates.
• Verify material deliveries for compliance and manage budget changes.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and disseminate coordination notes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum three years of experience directing construction projects and handling financial outcomes.
• Detail‑oriented team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with owners, designers and construction teams.

Required skills

• MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) scope expertise.
• Proficiency with CMiC construction management software.
• Experience in bid package assembly and subcontractor coordination.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and submittal review processes.
