Project Management Internship

About the role

Blue Oak Consulting is seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to support a large‑scale initiative with an international development partner. Working fully remotely alongside senior advisors, you will help keep project workflows organized, ensure data collection stays on schedule, and assist in delivering timely financial critiques.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain project timelines reflecting progress on financial audits and advisory tasks.
• Organize and categorize data sets received from the development partner for analysis.
• Assist in building basic financial models to test budget assumptions.
• Coordinate remote meetings across multiple time zones between principals and external stakeholders.
• Track data request status and follow up on missing information.
• Review project documentation to spot discrepancies between goals and actual spending.
• Draft progress reports summarizing findings for senior leadership.
• Manage the internal repository of project files to ensure version control.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts.
• Excellent written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
