Project Manager – Portfolio (Fixed‑Term, Nairobi)

About the role

Brookhill Projects Limited seeks a Project Manager to run several construction projects simultaneously, from mobilisation through handover, acting as the primary client liaison and coordinating site managers, procurement and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, programme and budget each project to deliver on time and within scope.
• Manage site managers, ensuring adherence to programme, quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate timely ordering and efficient use of labour, materials and plant with procurement.
• Chair progress meetings with clients, subcontractors and the design team, recording all decisions.
• Inspect work at each stage against drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Track costs against budget, provide accurate monthly forecasts and reports.
• Identify risks early and propose solutions for each issue.

Required profile

• Organised, direct and calm under pressure, able to hold a line with subcontractors on quality.
• Confident communicating difficult news to clients in writing.
• Capable of keeping multiple projects moving without drift, with up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Hands‑on site experience with a strong eye for high‑end finishes.
• Proven record of budgeting, cost control and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or related field.
• At least five years managing building projects from start to handover, including high‑end residential, commercial or fit‑out work.
• Experience running more than one project concurrently.
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera and strong Excel skills.
• Sound knowledge of Kenyan building regulations, NCA requirements and site safety law.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or professional body membership is an advantage.
