Property Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Property Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our portfolio in Nairobi. The role ensures efficient property administration, high tenant satisfaction and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Market vacant units, source and screen tenants, handle lease administration, renewals and terminations to maintain optimal occupancy.
• Monitor rent collection, arrears, debt recovery and enforce lease terms.
• Resolve tenant complaints promptly and implement retention initiatives.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, conduct regular inspections and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise contractors, service providers and on‑site staff to guarantee quality and cost‑effective service.
• Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports and operating expenses.
• Maintain accurate lease agreements, tenant records, occupancy reports, maintenance logs and payment records.
• Track key performance indicators such as occupancy rates, collection rates, maintenance turnaround time and profitability, and devise improvement strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management or related field (preferred).
• Registered member of the Estate Agents Registration Board.
• Minimum five years of proven experience in property or real‑estate management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
