Property Valuer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Valuer to join our team in Nairobi. The role involves delivering high‑quality valuations for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and special‑purpose properties, and supporting clients such as banks, corporations and private owners.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct valuations across diverse property types.
• Prepare accurate, well‑supported valuation reports.
• Discuss reports with clients, financial institutions, auditors and other stakeholders.
• Apply recognized valuation approaches and methodologies.
• Perform site inspections, market research and data analysis.
• Mentor, supervise and train trainees and junior valuers.
• Review and provide technical guidance on junior staff reports.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate.
• Minimum 3 years of property valuation experience.
• Proven experience preparing valuation reports for banks, financial institutions, corporations and private clients.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in valuation approaches and methodologies.
• Ability to defend valuation reports confidently.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
