About the role

FarmBid is recruiting 450 young professionals across Kenya to join the We The Peoples Initiative as Proposal Writers. The role supports fundraising, community development and sustainable impact projects throughout Africa by preparing high‑quality grant proposals, business plans and related documents.

Key responsibilities

• Research grant and funding opportunities from local and international donors.
• Prepare grant proposals, concept notes, funding applications and business plans.
• Develop project budgets and Logical Framework (Logframe) documents.
• Support organisations in fundraising and resource mobilisation initiatives.
• Review, edit and proofread proposal documents for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with the proposal development team to ensure timely, high‑standard submissions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling client information.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or degree in any field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for community development, innovation and social impact.
• Age between 18 and 35 years.
