QA Operations Expert

About the role

The QA Operations Expert will support monitoring, tracking and evaluation of material release setups, contributing to key performance indicators and regulatory processes. You will lead investigations, ensure compliant release of raw materials and consumables, and drive continuous improvement within the quality operations function.

Key responsibilities

• Support monitoring, tracking and evaluation of material release setups and contribute to IIA KPI and RCI processes.
• Lead and support DEV, OOx and complaint investigations, promoting quality‑relevant topics and projects.
• Make release decisions for raw material and consumables and oversee all non‑conformity issues (OOS, OOE, OOT, deviations, complaints).
• Drive consistent and efficient operation of the quality operations function in the assigned area.
• Identify productivity improvement opportunities and coordinate their implementation.
• Provide support for health‑authority inspections and customer audits.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in life sciences, bioengineering, pharmacy, medicine, biology, chemistry or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control within a GMP environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP standards and processes.
• Strong risk‑management and quality‑decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, continuous learning mindset, and collaborate across boundaries.
• Fluency in English and German.
