QA & Team Leader

About the role

The QA & Team Leader will oversee the quality of AI training data annotations and manage a team of annotators. This position ensures that data meets project standards while supporting daily operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality audits of annotated data, identify errors, and provide corrective feedback.
• Supervise a team of data annotators, allocate workloads, and monitor productivity.
• Coach annotators on quality standards and conduct performance check‑ins.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and calibration sessions for new and existing team members.
• Track key performance indicators such as accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time, and prepare performance reports.
• Escalate significant quality or operational issues to management.
• Collaborate with Project and Operations teams to align resources, deadlines, and guideline updates.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Data Management, Operations or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, team supervision, data annotation, content moderation or a similar environment.
• Proven experience leading a team and conducting quality audits.
• Familiarity with AI training data and data labeling projects is an advantage.
