Quality Control Officer – SIM

About the role

The Quality Control Officer – SIM ensures that every SIM module, chip and finished card meets strict quality and regulatory standards before it reaches the market. Working in a fast‑paced telecom manufacturing environment, you will protect network reliability and customer satisfaction by preventing defective SIMs from being deployed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections at each production stage, from raw material intake to final packaging.
• Conduct visual checks for physical defects and use specialized readers to verify electrical integrity and data encoding.
• Document and categorize defects, supporting root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records to ensure traceability for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with production engineers to investigate issues and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Meticulous attention to detail with a zero‑defect mindset.
• Strong understanding of telecom standards and the impact of defective SIMs on network activation.
• Integrity, patience and a methodical approach to handling delicate electronic components.
• Entry‑level qualification with up to 12 months of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GSM Association specifications.
• Proficiency with SIM card inspection equipment and functional testing tools.
