Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer

About the role

The Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer will support IOM’s commitment to integrity, transparency and accountability across its operations in Kenya. Reporting to the Office of Ethics and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment, the officer will help embed a culture of ethical conduct throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen IOM’s culture of integrity through policy development, advisory services and training.
• Provide guidance to staff on ethical issues and the IOM Standards of Conduct.
• Support the Ethics and Conduct Unit in monitoring compliance and handling integrity‑related cases.
• Collaborate with governmental, inter‑governmental and non‑governmental partners to promote ethical migration practices.
• Contribute to the development of prevention strategies for sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 84 months of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of ethics, integrity frameworks and UN‑related standards.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and represent IOM in external forums.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
