Regional Manager – AIM Programme (Kakamega)

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead program planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring for the AIM initiative across the Kakamega region. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager and Programme Manager, the role ensures alignment, quality delivery and partnership development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, execution and management of the AIM programme at regional level, ensuring targets are met.
• Supervise Technical Sector Officers and Branch Managers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding and performance.
• Coordinate procurement, budget control and cash‑flow to support day‑to‑day activities.
• Monitor data collection, MIS and financial reporting using the BInsight application.
• Facilitate regional coordination meetings, trainings and community visits to ensure quality and safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field management or direct implementation experience in development projects, including microfinance, livelihood and agriculture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using the BInsight application for MIS and reporting.
