Regional Operations Manager – Microcredit

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to lead our regional microcredit operations across Kenya. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee a multi‑layered team and ensure portfolio quality, growth and operational discipline in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach Cluster Managers, General Monitoring Officers and Sales Executives across multiple locations.
• Drive portfolio growth, debt recovery and adherence to credit policies.
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics to maintain high portfolio quality.
• Ensure operational discipline, compliance and efficient field execution.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in senior operations or field management within microfinance, banking or telecom sales.
• Proven track record of managing large, field‑based teams and achieving portfolio targets.
• Kenyan citizenship.
