Remote Frontend Developer (JavaScript, React, Node.js)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. You will work remotely, building and enhancing web applications using modern JavaScript technologies while ensuring high performance and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise frontend components with JavaScript, React and related libraries.
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express for RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems.
• Write clean, modular, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks such as React.
• Hands‑on experience developing backend APIs with Node.js and Express.
• Familiarity with state‑management solutions like Redux or Context API.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
