About the role
We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join a global leader in software development on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services for a distributed system.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Go (Golang).
- Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
- Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Go (Golang).
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization.
