Remote Paralegal

About the role

Our client, a leading litigation firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Remote Paralegal to support its commercial litigation and collections teams. The position provides substantive legal assistance to on‑shore paralegals and supervising attorneys, handling a high volume of civil litigation matters from pre‑suit through post‑judgment enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of commercial litigation, including drafting complaints, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas and trial exhibits.
• Prepare and process collection‑related pleadings such as complaints, default‑judgment motions, writs of garnishment and execution.
• Track case deadlines, docketing dates and statute‑of‑limitations alerts using the firm’s case‑management system.
• Maintain organized digital case files, binders and supporting documentation for hearings, depositions and trials.
• Coordinate correspondence with debtors, opposing counsel and courts, and provide status updates to clients and internal teams.
• Support discovery efforts by preparing and reviewing documents, requests and responses.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with strong written and organizational abilities.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation procedures and commercial collections processes.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for remote collaboration with on‑shore teams.
