Remote Peer Reviewer – Remote Sensing (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Remote Sensing to join our long‑term, part‑time peer‑review team. The role is fully remote and involves evaluating scholarly manuscripts submitted to academic journals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of each manuscript.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check the literature review for relevance and completeness.
• Analyse results and verify that conclusions are supported by the data.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and identify any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Remote Sensing or a closely related field.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
