Reservations Supervisor

About the role

The Reservations Supervisor ensures the accuracy and efficiency of all reservation activities for a 5‑star hotel. You will lead a team, implement new procedures, and uphold Marriott’s standards of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee room block accuracy, reservations, and group market codes.
• Review and implement updated reservations procedures.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Accommodate and document special requests and answer questions about property facilities and services.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Enter and retrieve data in the reservation system.
• Set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues or escalate as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, including at least 2 years in a 5‑star hotel environment.
