Resources Management Officer (P)

About the role

The Resources Management Officer provides support to Data Coordinators on CommCare tool coding, case ID management, user administration, and inventory tracking. The role also oversees back‑check officers, manages the rollout of back‑check activities, and assists the field team with data‑collection troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day inventory and asset management systems, update trackers and indemnity forms.
• Procure low‑value items under senior staff supervision.
• On‑board, train and supervise back‑checkers, manage their hiring process according to HR guidelines.
• Oversee back‑check activities, provide feedback and ensure accurate reporting.
• Install CommCare on new tablets for MEL streams and surveys.
• Assist Data Coordinators and field teams during enumerator training.
• Own coding of back‑checks and data checks for at least one MEL stream.
• Update the Knowledge Management Guide/Map and manage the shared Knowledge Management folder.

Required profile

• Experience with inventory and asset tracking systems.
• Familiarity with CommCare or similar mobile data‑collection platforms.
• Ability to train and supervise field staff and back‑check officers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
