Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of our Nairobi, Westlands outlet. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer experiences, and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service flow.
• Recruit, train, schedule and motivate staff, conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food quality.
• Handle customer complaints, monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements.
• Develop and execute sales, marketing and promotional strategies to increase revenue.
• Oversee financial tasks such as daily sales reporting, cash handling, budgeting and cost control.
• Control stock ordering, inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑hygiene regulations.
• Prepare operational, sales and inventory reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in restaurant management.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related field.
• Mid‑level professional with proven leadership abilities.
