Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead daily operations of Kuku Kitchen located in Westlands Mall, ensuring smooth service for both dine‑in guests and delivery orders. You will be responsible for maintaining high food quality, efficient workflow, and a vibrant customer experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise opening and closing procedures, kitchen workflow, and front‑of‑house service in line with mall operating hours.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate cashiers, cooks, and cleaning staff.
• Oversee order fulfillment for delivery platforms and manage rider logistics within mall access points.
• Maintain food presentation, taste consistency, and rapid service standards.
• Handle cash registers, daily sales reports, petty cash, and control labour costs.
• Monitor inventory, minimise waste, and coordinate with local suppliers.
• Liaise with mall management and enforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and sustain a high‑energy atmosphere.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or Business Administration.
• 2–5 years of management experience in a busy fast‑food chain, QSR, or mall‑based dining operation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Tech‑savvy with experience using modern POS systems and delivery aggregator tablets.
• Valid medical food handler’s certificate.
