Restaurant Manager / Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager/Supervisor to lead our Westlands outlet in Nairobi. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent guest experiences, and driving the restaurant’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.
• Manage, coach, and schedule a team of staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and implement best practices for hygiene.
• Control inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to minimise waste.
• Utilise the POS system for order processing, sales reporting, and cash handling.
• Analyse financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a restaurant management or similar supervisory role.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the capacity to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using restaurant POS systems.
